The Honda Pilot’s various prime amenities include features that are designed to make things more convenient and more entertaining for vehicle occupants. Included among them are amenities such as:
Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System: Offered standard for the Pilot Touring and Elite trim levels and available for the Pilot EX-L, the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System is designed to help drivers find their destinations with ease. This navigation setup is a Garmin-based system and includes features like HD Digital Traffic, predictive local search, simplified voice-recognition technology, 3D terrain and building renderings, a lane guidance split screen for road signs and exits, and map updates offered free for five years.
Smart Entry: Standard in all but the base trim, Smart Entry makes it easier than ever before to gain entrance to the Honda Pilot and utilize its features. Smart Entry lets drivers unlock the Pilot, open the doors and the liftgate, fire up the engine, drive the vehicle, turn off the engine, and re-lock the Pilot—all without ever touching the key. All that’s required is having the fob in range.
HomeLink Remote System: A HomeLink Remote System is offered standard in all but the Pilot base trim. This system lets drivers operate up to three remote-controlled home devices from right inside the vehicle, such as garage doors, lighting, and home security systems. So, if you load up your family in the Pilot and then realize you forgot to arm the security system in your home, you can take care of it from inside the vehicle without having to reenter the house.
Bluetooth Connectivity: Drivers can stay conveniently and safely connected to their world from inside the Pilot with standard Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and Bluetooth streaming audio, which are offered in each Pilot model. These features give drivers hands-free access to phone functions, audio content, and more via any compatible, paired smartphone.
Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers: Convenience even extends to the Honda Pilot’s windshield wipers. In the top-level Pilot Elite trim, rain-sensing windshield wipers are standard. These technologically advanced wipers eliminate the need for drivers to manually activate and adjust the vehicle’s windshield wipers, letting motorists keep their attention fully focused on the road instead. A sensor detects the amount of precipitation that is striking the windshield and varies the deployment and speed of the wipers accordingly.
High-tech features in the Honda Pilot also include safety and driver-assistance technologies to help protect vehicle occupants when they’re out on the road.
Included among these features are standard safety technologies like an advanced airbag system with SmartVent front side airbags and three-row side curtain airbags with rollover sensors, a multi-angle rearview camera with guidelines (the higher Pilot trim levels have dynamic guidelines), Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, a tire pressure monitoring system with tire fill assist and location and pressure indicators, and more.
