Engine and Performance

The Fit is small but mighty with a 1.5 L engine under the hood that produces up to 130 horsepower. For some drivers more power is everything, and with the HR-V you’ll find a 1.8 L engine that produces up to 141 horsepower. The HR-V can also be configured with an available AWD system whereas the Fit only offers FWD across its lineup.

Passenger and Cargo Space

A rear magic seat is in place in both the Fit and the HR-V, making it easy to reconfigure the interior into several different cargo and passenger setups. The Fit has 16.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and a maximum of 52.7 cubic feet of space with the second row folded down flat. The HR-V will see a larger cargo area with the seats intact, measuring 23.2 cubic feet.
